A Fresh New Direction, Whoa!

     
Total Access had gone through multiple redesigns under my leadership at NFL Network, but for this third update, we set out to redefine the visual identity of the show entirely. Working closely with our talented in-house team and our creative partners at Capacity, we embraced a bold new direction that would mark a turning point in how we approached the brand.

This package represented a pivotal step in the NFL Network's broader evolution, leading us to fully align with the core identity of the NFL. The mantra that guided us—“We are the NFL, let’s own it”—became the driving force behind our creative concept. Rather than creating a traditional sports broadcast design, we envisioned a world that would immerse viewers within The Shield itself, transporting them through dynamic environments that embodied the power, history, and energy of the NFL.  






Keeping it simple doesn’t mean boring.
A 3d package with a clean and bold aesthetic allowing imagery and footage to stand out.  

By building a visually engaging universe that flowed seamlessly from segment to segment, we crafted a package that set a new standard—not just for Total Access, but for the entire network. This fresh approach laid the groundwork for many of our subsequent franchise redesigns, establishing a cohesive visual language that strengthened the connection between our programming and the NFL brand.
